Zip Zap is an NGO that focuses on using the circus arts to inspire children from all over South Africa so thank you for interest in hiring the dome and supporting Zip Zap.

Zip Zap Circus School was established in Cape Town in 1992 with a very ambitious goal: to provide a safe space where children from various racial and socio-economic backgrounds could come together to interact and dialogue across cultural and racial divides and have fun! Within a space of 28 years Zip Zap has grown into a fully-fledged circus school, with the objective to teach life skills, grow trust and respect, and nurture inter-racial contact to encourage communication, teamwork and acceptance. 

We believe that our approach to empowerment is at the very heart of social transformation, individual- and community development. Zip Zap’s philosophy is one in which circus arts are used as a transformative tool for connecting education, physical well-being, individual growth and social development for children and youth who are socially at risk.

In order for us to be sustainable, we hire out the Zip Zap Dome, our performers have the ability to offer entertainment to corporates and we have equipment that can be hired to offer solutions to other companies in the feild. These all generate funds to be able to keep our doors open for free for the 2000 children that we see a year. So not only do you have an incredible venue, but you're also giving back and having an event with heart.
