Westlake United Church Trust exists to help build a self-sustaining and thriving Westlake Community. We are a registered NPO and that operates in Westlake, Cape Town.
Currently the Village is a vibrant multi-cultural community of about 20 000 residents that live in low-cost houses and informal structures.
Two women are employed to manufacture items for local NPO’s in the community. These include Tracksuits, Aprons, Chair Covers, Work shirts and other special items. They also do alterations and repairs for nominal fees.
We also make stuffed toys from shirts and off-cuts of fabric that cannot be sold at the Charity Shop. These beautiful items are not availalble to the public to purchase as a gift.
